Hi I'm Jooyeon.

I’m building Alterengo, an AI language-learning assistant for augmented intelligence. It’s currently in beta, and it’s designed to turn any website into personalized language-learning materials while inferring what you do and don’t know through natural learning interactions.

My interests lie at the intersection of Human–Computer Interaction, Computational Cognitive Science, and Learning Sciences—with a focus on systems that act as cognitive mirrors to help people understand and improve how they learn.
